My daily work in the development lab is very varied and interesting, not only because of our numerous products! Our state-of-the-art laboratory building and spacious workplaces also play a positive role. ARDEX provides fresh fruit for snacks every day, and we can spend our lunch breaks in the staff canteen. I find ARDEX’s commitment to health management particularly good: training courses to prevent back problems and health promotion training, such as stress prevention, are offered regularly. I am glad that the company offers me flexibility – and it does this in many different ways: through various training opportunities such as the ARDEX Summer Academy, our human resources development programme for employees who demonstrate high potential. I am now head of the legal department at ARDEX. I still have plenty of time for my family, as my position is part-time. I’m able to manage family, work and sporting activities very easily. I completed my training as a machine and system operator through the CareerWORKSHOP, an education and training centre. I did my work placement at ARDEX. My new colleagues immediately integrated me into the team and made sure I had a great start. I was also directly involved in joint activities like our football team.
