For me as a trainee, it was really interesting to spend four weeks in England. I experienced a foreign culture and a different language, and met lots of new colleagues. Thankfully, the warm welcome from the team at our British Group company and the excellent support and integration assistance meant that I quickly felt very much at home and almost didn’t want to say goodbye. I got to know the sales force, production and procurement areas. My English language skills have improved. I now know some international colleagues personally (not just by email) and have seen ARDEX from an international perspective.
